BassPro Shops Grand Opening May 3rd

Revive Outdoors has teamed up with the St. Louis Branch of the National Deer Association (NDA) to provide sample seed packs to attendees on Conservation Night, May 3rd.

For those who attend, samples of Revive Outdoors' native wildflower/grass seed mix, Pollinator Booster 2.0, will be available FREE at the NDA booth.

#DidYouKnow there are over 4,000 kinds of native bees in the United States? And the honey bee is NOT one of them. The honey bee gets credit for a lot of work, however native bees, such as the bumblebee, are specialized pollinators. Without the bumblebee, we would not have tomatoes (pasta sauce, salsa, ketchup, pizza sauce, etc.) or blueberries! Native bees are the unrecognized pollinators of the world, and this seed mix will provide food for both native bees and the honey bees of the US.

Pollinator Booster 2.0 is comprised of 100% USA Native Plant Species to attract native bees and honey bees, as well as other beneficial pollinators. The blend is a potent food source, and also provides a thick, full-coverage critical habitat for the pollinators to thrive. The wildflowers are carefully selected to bloom throughout the entire growing season- Spring, Summer, and Fall. These diverse blooms range in size and flourishing a rainbow of colors.

Pollinator Booster 2.0 is a mix of 13 native species of wildflowers and grasses:

Sand Dropseed, Little Bluestem, Virginia Wild Rye, Fall Panicum, Plains Coreopsis, Black-eyed Susan, Smooth Beardtongue, Lance Leaved Coreopsis, New England Aster, Purple Coneflower, Grayheaded Coneflower, Smooth Aster, Indian Blanket

The seed mix should provide approximately 20 seeds per square foot and cover about 80-100 square feet.
